A Very Important Message Brought to you by: Adler’s & The Avenue Concept

Outdoor mural in Providence RI painted with C2 paint from Adler's Hardware & Design Center

The Avenue Concept artists painted another beautiful mural. It's located at One Ship Street, in Providence, RI; and Adler's once again contributed the paint that TAC artists needed.

Angie Gonzales [AGONZA], a local Dominican artist; and Jessica Brown, a RISD industrial design Professor used C2 paint with brushes. Spray paint was used by Kendall, aka Lucid Traveler, who painted the amazing portraits of George Floyd in our city this summer; and 'Above,' a local graffiti artist who is a military vet and uses his art as an outlet for PTSD.

We all agree: if there's one very big, very easy thing that most people can do - it's to VOTE.

Nick Platzer, TAC's Mural Coordinator, says, "Every single time I watch the artists and Harry Adler interact - nerding out on colors, hues, and saturation - it’s like watching two people go into another realm... in their world. They get each other…. and the artists love that.”

"Every artist that leaves Adler's and tells me, “Man, that place is amazing!”

“Adler’s is such a great resource for us. Anything we can give back to them we will try to do, we will bend over backwards, because they have always done that for us.”

As TAC's main sponsor, Adler's takes great pride in beautifying our city. TAC says the murals wouldn't be possible without Adler's.

The artists also comment on the C2 paint products they find far superior than other paints they use. It never fades, the colors hold up in the sun, and we now start every mural with C2 Primer as well.

Building owners, artists, Adler's, and The Avenue Concept have ongoing partnerships and a residence program that helps the art continue.
