Adler’s has been building relationships with the greater Providence community since 1919.

Adler’s Design Center & Hardware is excited to be celebrating its 102nd year in business! Originally an Army-Navy clothing shop when our doors opened in 1919, as the decades went by we have continued to adapt and add to the store based on the needs of the community around us.

Adler’s is a unique home goods store with just about anything you need. We carry an extensive product inventory including decorative and traditional hardware, home goods, and paint. Visit our design center for beautiful window treatments, wall coverings, in-home design services, or gorgeous textiles for curtains or furniture. A large part of our business serves real estate developers, property maintenance companies, universities, contractors, churches and community centers. Homeowners and renters, college students just arriving in town or long time residents all know where to go for friendly service and quality goods.

We pride ourselves on the fact that you know that when you step into our store, you step into an old-school, upscale store whose team can answer any “fix-it, better-it” question you bring in. And we maintain our legacy of delivering superb customer service with integrity (and lots of love!).

Three generations later, one thing has remained just as it was in 1919: making sure that every customer is treated like a guest in the Adler home. We are so grateful to all our loyal customers over the years and the relationships we’ve formed helping others improve their properties and the community.
