The Essential College Tool Box Kit

We are getting back to school pretty soon, so if you're going to college or you're going into a new apartment, you might want to consider having some tools around, so you're always ready for any repair that you need. And some of the most popular ones, of course, a toolbox for all your tools. Instead of getting six different screwdrivers, consider getting a multi-point screwdriver. You just pull out the tips and you've got the tips in here. It's ratcheting, so you can go forward or backward. Very handy tool to have. Of course, you're going to want a tape measure. Maybe you're going to be putting up some pictures. You want to figure out where the best place to put it.

If you have a little computer, a cell phone, if you need to fix it or take it apart. This is really handy. You've got all these different bits and it has the really hard to find small torque bits that you use on your cell phone or computer. So consider one of these tools. Of course, you have your IKEA furniture and you need tools to put it together or take it apart. You're going to need Allen wrenches, probably metric ones. So make sure you have an Allen wrench.

If you're hanging pictures in your wall, you might need some nails or some picture hooks. We have both. Of course, if you go to one of the universities, they love when you use these because you don't mess up their walls. So this is the command hook. You can put it on and take it off without damaging the wall. Of course, a hammer to put in your nails or picture hooks. This is a seven ounce small one. Very convenient. When you're putting up your pictures, you want to make sure they're level. You can put this right on top of the picture and the little bubble will tell you. If you get it in the lines, then your picture is level. Now this is a really handy tool, pair of pliers. They're adjustable so they can go either larger or smaller and very good to have around.

A wrench if you're doing some assembly work. This is adjustable, so instead of buying half a dozen different ones, you can buy this one tool and do a lot of things with it. So when you're leaving your room and you have holes in it that you put in, when you put in your pictures, you can buy some spackle and use one of these to put the spackle in, get some sandpaper. Then you don't lose your security deposit. Utility knife is good to have. You never have enough scissors. So all of these good things you can get at Adler's Hardware.
